供莲花灯（初一十五供奉） Lotus Lamp Offering (Lunar 1st & 15th Days Offering)

每逢农历初一、十五，寺院道场恭设莲花灯，提供大众发心供奉于佛前，以表敬佛恩，广结净缘。 佛言：「念佛者，是人中芬陀利花。」芬陀利花者，莲花之最胜也；昔以此花赞佛，今佛反以此花赞念佛之人，称其为人中至妙者。

On the lunar 1st and 15th days, the monastery respectfully offers lotus lamps before the Buddha, providing devotees with the opportunity to make sincere offerings in gratitude and to form pure and wholesome affinities. The Buddha taught that those who recite His Name are like the finest lotus flowers among humankind. In the past, such flowers were used to praise the Buddha; now, the Buddha in turn uses them to praise those who recite His Name, recognizing them as the most excellent among people.
